Surrender

Last night, I was leaving Trader Joe’s* when something told me to turn on the radio. If ya know me, you know I am more of a CarPlay girlie, but there I was, heading to FM to see what was up. The first words I heard were Adele’s, singing “hello from the other side.” I couldn’t help but crack up; sometimes the clairaudience is a little on the nose.

I said hello back, taking this as a message from above, and kept the station on. (Btw, I hear myself as I write this. I realize to some, I may sound insane. If I’d had said this 100 years ago, your girl would’ve been lobotomized for sure!!!)

The next song arrived and to my dismay it was Florida Georgia Line (I’m sorry but my ears cannot handle that). Right as I went to turn the song off, I couldn’t help but actually hear the lyrics. PLEASE, FORGIVE ME FOR QUOTING A LITERAL BEBE REXHA / FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE SONG LOLOL, but:

And then, I kid you not, I saw 9595 on the license plate in front of me and so obvi I looked up what that meant et voila…“the universe knows exactly what steps to present to you; surrender to the experience.”

I knew then what I was supposed to say now. Surrender, bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that wasn’t a strong enough message, my coat check tag from Saturday night was 696 and guess what the heck that means??? “Your angels are encouraging you to trust in the flow of life, particularly if you feel things have slowed down recently. Surrender your constant need to be busy and remember that less is more.”

Surrender, surrender, surrender. How does one do that? Well, I asked. And I got an answer!!! Slay. “You accept what is. You stop thinking about what’s next and start paying attention to what’s now.”
